Sign a PDF yourself
- 1Open Sign PDF and choose the document.
- 2Click Signature and draw it, or type your name and choose a style.
- 3Click where it should go, then drag and resize it. Add the date with Add text.
- 4Click Download to save the signed PDF.
Is it legally binding?
Placing an image of your signature creates a simple electronic signature, which is accepted for many everyday agreements. Some documents — for example certain government, property or notarised documents — need certificate-based digital signatures or wet ink. If in doubt, ask whoever requested the signature.
Collecting signatures from others
